Rio Grande Community River Float

Join Far Flung Adventures, Rio Grande Friends, Diversify Whitewater and Latino Outdoors for a free guided rafting trip on June 8th on the Rio Grande south of Taos! Introduction by our new monument Friend’s Group and meet the first Outdoor Academy rafting program graduates. Choose between a mellow float or a family friendly whitewater adventure followed by free lunch provided by our sponsors. This event is open to people of all ages and abilities and no experience is necessary. The Far Flung property will be open for use, which features a private beach and beach games!

There will only be a certain number of spots available for each trip, please indicate which you would like to do in your RSVP form. Some eligibility may be determined upon arrival. 

Saturday June 8th, 9:30-3:00pm:

9:30am Meet at Far Flung Riverside

10:00am: Friends Group Introduction

10:30: Load up in the vehicles and head to river

10:45-1:00: River Trip

1:15-3:00: Food, beach games and hang out at Riverside.
